Fuet Ibérico Pefrán

Pefrán presents at Salón Gourmets its new Fuet Ibérico and the sustainable format of sliced products.

Pefrán will be at the 36th Salón Gourmets at IFEMA (Madrid) from 17 to 20 April 2023. At this important high gastronomy fair, the sausage company from Santibáñez de Béjar (Salamanca), which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary, will present its innovative products, including the launch of its new Fuet Ibérico, its sustainable sliced format and the Pefrán Innova line.

The company will be at stand 4F23-100 in Hall 4, in the Tierra de Sabor Castilla y León space, where visitors will be able to discover the unique flavours and exceptional quality of Pefrán Iberian products. The Iberian Fuet is a very special product that will surprise visitors to the fair. Unlike traditional fuet, which is usually made from white pork, Pefrán Iberian Fuet is made with the best meat from the fattened Iberian pig, which gives it a unique flavour and texture.

In addition, Ibéricos Pefrán continues with the presentation of its new format of sliced Iberian sausages. In this case, it has opted for sustainable packaging that allows the packaging to be reused thanks to its very practical closing system that guarantees the preservation of the product. In addition, the plastic used in Pefrán sliced meats is 100% recyclable, which is in line with the brand's commitment to caring for the environment.

Pefrán will once again be accompanied by its brand ambassador, the Salamancan chef César Niño, from the El Alquimista Restaurant, who will cook several exclusive recipes live, in which he will show the various culinary possibilities of Iberian pork loin and cured meats.

The Pefrán Innova line will also be in the spotlight during the fair, with its four new products: the Iberian Chorizo with Black Garlic, the truffled Iberian Salchichón and the two types of Chorizo and Salchichón with Real Quinoa from Eco Cultivation. This range of products reflects Pefrán's commitment to quality and innovation. These new products are the result of the work carried out in the Pefrán Iberian Laboratory, elaborations based on the traditional recipes that have been inherited but with very original nuances, which enhance and enrich the sausages made with excellent Iberian pork and cured in their natural drying sheds between the Gredos and Béjar mountain ranges.

Visitors to the stand will be able to taste the different Innova products, as well as discover the exceptional quality and flavour of the other two more traditional ranges: Pefrán Maestro, products made with acorn-fed Iberian pork, and Pefrán Herencia, with fattened Iberian pork.
