Getting not one but
four Golds at Great Taste is a significant achievement for any food producer. The project, ran by the “Guild of Fine Food”, settled in Somerset, England, has been described as the bigger and more reliable certification system for specialised food. Founded in 1994, it encourages and guides artisanal food producers; it offers a unique comparative publicity and an evaluation service which leads to an independent certification.
From 1994, more than 60.000 products have been evaluated. Just during this year, more than 8.000 products have been tasted by specialists: the best chefs, writers, critics, retaurateurs and food retailers.
From Pefrán, we are proud of showing our selection of rewarded products with the gold star of Great Taste.
The Longaniza Extra Ibérica, the Chorizo Cular Extra Ibérico and the Caña de Lomo Ibérico de Cebo have been rewarded for a group of 350 exigent experts.
